This course is designed to teach students the basics of executive security protection detail. The course will include information on site surveys; advance procedures; security posts; motorcade operations; the package and close proximity.

This course will cover the following:

• Intro to Dignitary Protection and Mission
• Cover and Evacuate the Principal
• Advance Planning
• Rings of Protection
• Dress, Etiquette, Ethics and DPU Unit Teamwork
• Kidnapping, Assassination case studies
• Weapons, Equipment and Medical Supplies
• Advances and Advance Exercise Protective Formations and Defensive Tactics for the Dignitary Protection Agent
• Protecting the Dignitary Exercises

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded at the conclusion of the course.
