Beginner Pistol Course (NRA Certified - FIRST STEPS)

(2-hr classroom + 1-hr range shooting)

Time: 8am-11am (1st class); 1pm-4pm (2nd class)

Fee: $75 + ammunition cost

Location: Angeles Shooting Ranges

This 3-hour pistol course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation of one specific handgun. It is a thorough introduction to firearm safety, handling, and shooting.

Equipment required: Eyes and ears protection; handgun (semi-automatic pistol or revolver); speed loader (revolver); 2 magazines (semi- auto); ammunition (100 rounds).

Class price does not include range costs (firearm, ammunition). A firearm can be provided upon request in advance (Glock 19 Semi-automatic pistol).

Ammunition can also be supplied for $15/box (50 rounds)

Recreational Pistol Shooting (Range Shooting Only)

Classes are held hourly and are scheduled Monday through Sunday between 9 am - 4 pm.

Fee: $25 + range, target & ammunition cost

(includes the use of a Glock 19 Semi-automatic Pistol)

Location: Angeles Shooting Ranges or the nearest shooting range in your area.

This 1-hour handgun course benefits new and recreational shooters in developing shooting skills in recreational shooting.

Equipment required: Eyes and ears protection. 100 rounds of ammuntion. Ammunition can also be supplied for $15/box (50 rounds)

Ammunition Information

Any brand of 9mm Luger (115 grain), full metal jacket (FMJ), round nose cartridges only if using our handgun. (No Wolf brand)

No steel core, steel or bi-metal jacketed ammunition allowed.

Range rules and regulations apply. Failure to follow rules or range officer instruction will result in immediate removal from the facility without refund.
