Pepper Spray Basic Instructor Course (8 hours)

Location: Granada Hills

This course is a comprehensive instructor development course. Participants successfully passing this course will be fully certified to train and certify end users within their own agency to carry and use of OC/Pepper Spray.

Instructors are not “free agents” of Double Tap Training Center and can only train and certify end users within their own agency or training center (employees).

Course objective is to instruct trainers to develop and produce training and remediation programs for end users in the proper and effective use of OC/Pepper Spray and to enhance their teaching skills to assist end user officers in concepts of officer safety and use of force determinations during a confrontation.

Instructor candidates must bring own duty gear, with pepper spray and holster. No firearms, impact weapons, electronic stunning device (taser) will be allowed during training.

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon completion of the course.
