Close Quarter Battle (CQB) Pistol Tactics

Location: Angeles Shooting Ranges (Fort Angeles Private Range)

 

This 8-hour course will teach students safety; close quarter shooting drills; stages of escalation; engaging near and far target transitions; shooting on the move, weapon retention; target identification; mindset awaremness; combat course of fire; and qualification.

 

 

Students are expected to have a better than average ability to manipulate their assigned weapons in a safe manner. Live fire exercises are for the purpose of developing the ability to recognize and correct shooting deficiencies. This is not a beginner course. This course will cover different survival shooting techniques.

  

Students must bring the following range equipment required:  

 

Eye & ear protection; Brimmed hat; Long sleeve shirt & long pants (BDU style); Boots; Semiautomatic handgun with 3 magazines & holster (500 rounds of ammunition); Only approved firearms will be allowed at the range. Firearms will be inspected by the rangemaster.
